These terms are the agreement between you and Daniela Paes when you use this website or buy Beside You. By placing an order you accept them.
What you are buying
Beside You is a downloadable digital guide (PDF) of 8 chapters plus printable pages. There is no physical book, no shipping and no subscription. It is a one-time payment of the price shown at checkout, in US dollars, taxes added where applicable. Nothing renews automatically.
Delivery
A download link is emailed to the address you enter at checkout, normally within a few minutes of payment. If it has not arrived within one hour, check your spam folder and then write to fourthtrimestre@gmail.com — we will send the file manually. You need a device that can open PDF files.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the guide and print copies for your own use. You may not resell it, share the file or the download link, publish it in whole or in part, upload it to any public or file-sharing site, or use it to create a derivative or competing product. The text, layout and images are protected by copyright and remain ours.

This guide is a personal account and a collection of practical, everyday suggestions written by a mother of two. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daniela Paes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from the use of this site or the guide, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Refunds
Refunds are handled under our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here on the date of your order. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of São Paulo, Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be heard by the courts of that place — this does not remove any consumer protection you have under the law of your own country of residence.
